I offer a non-judgemental, professional and safe environment where you can explore what is troubling you without fear of criticism, rejection or blame. The therapeutic process is challenging and transformative. It may take some time, although people often feel more able to engage differently with life after a relatively short period of therapy.
I have experience working with young people and adults who are experiencing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family or personality issues.
I understand it takes courage to seek help and am happy to respond to questions by email or arrange a telephone chat for you to air any concern about aspects of therapy without obligations to book an appointment.
Practise description:
I offer therapy sessions face to face at 38, Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross, SL9 8EB or on Zoom with booked appointments. I work in an open-ended way, which allows the therapeutic relationship and the direction of therapy to develop naturally. The progress in therapy is regularly reviewed to ensure that the person’s needs are being met.
My first session:
After the initial consultation phone call or Zoom call, I will email you my terms and contract that I will ask you to read and sign before our first session. At our first session we go through our agreement and we will discuss what you would like to achieve in therapy and I will answer questions that may arise about our work. Going forward we will work together with any issues you have and we find meanings for troubling emotions.
